Government of Nepal on Wednesday (may 21) announced the opening of 104 new peaks for mountaineering .According to tourism industry division of the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation, has decided to promote mountains less than 5,800 meters as trekking peak, and has stated that "there is no need to obtain climbing permit to all peaks below 5,800 m".
Now, with the addition of 104 peaks,414 mountains are open for mountaineering in Nepal.
